Hello and welcome We are an acoustic duo comprising Julia Rose on vocals and David Esp on guitar. We specialise in dreamy ethereal ballads, folk songs and romantic folk rock. We are based in the South East of England, UK and have played our music in various counties, for many different occasions including:
We lend our style to a variety of famous and lesser-known songs of quality that strike a chord, for example those by Enya, Sting, Kate Rusby, Pentangle, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Kathy Mattea, Renaissance, Dusty Springfield, Loreena McKennit, Vashti Bunyan, The Corrs, Pink Floyd, Moloko, Toploader, Cait Agus Sean and Francoise Hardy. We like to translate and perform intriguing French songs by Barbara and Mylène Farmer as well as favourites by Edith Piaf. We are also working on our own compositions. |
