From a Whore House to Tea Rooms Part 15th and part 16th century, through the years The Swan has been a butcher’s shop, a post office, and tea rooms, a place of rest, a whore house and a public house. It was even has a Priest Hole in Oliver Cromwell’s time.
A Royal Link There is a substantiated rumour that George III regularly used The Swan whilst deer hunting. At that time, 1780, Arborfield was still on the fringes of Windsor Forest.
